My friend and I are avid fans of the Northwest music scene of the sixties, and
have a great interest in learning more about the bands that existed back then,
ie. The New Tweedy Brothers, The Great Pumpkin, etc. Any information on any of
these groups, singles or otherwise, no matter how obscure, would be greatly
appreciated.
We would also like more info on the Vortex, a music celebration that Gov.
McCall orchestrated back in 1970. We know a little about it, but can find no
listings of bands who played the event, or existing footage, audio or
otherwise. Anybody who was there or has any info, please email me. I would
love to hear from you.
Thanks.
