Responsibilities:
Strongly prefer contract to perm.  No relocation, local candidates only.  

DUTIES:
Responsible for ordering and installing Data Communication services for customers of Company.
Bid, order and install new lines, documentation,drops and hardware for Data Communications network.
Consult with customers to determine their needs relative to Data Communications.
Maintain a close working relationship with all suppliers of communication services.
Insure communications regarding installation status is related to all interested parties in a timely manner.
Request services of other departments or Company needs.
Effectively communicate with both customers and vendors under pressure situations.
Assists the Manager of Data Communications in any manner deemed necessary to the department.

Understanding Data Communications Technology
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors under pressure situations.
Most important quality this person could posess would be that they are trainable. They do not expect to find a perfect fit for the job and are willing to train, however, a technical aptitude and any experience with data/tele comm circuits, data/tele comm hardware and motorola modems and routers would be helpful. This person must be customer service, client oriented as there is a great deal of interaction with clients and with a number of vendors and suppliers.
