Responsibilities:
	UNIX Sun Systems Administrator 
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Administer the day-to-day computer network systems at various remote call centers.
Act as a first contact interface to users. 
Must be flexible with work schedule and job requirements.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
College degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience with Unix.
Able to write scripts in a shell.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years to five years in Unix Sun system administration.



Desired Requirements:
TALENTS AND SKILLS:
Able to train users in applications and Unix  fundamentals.
Able to write training documentation.
High skill with most Unix commands/utilities.
Familiar with most basic system administration tools and processes, such as reboot systems, add/remove users, backups and file system check (fsck), understand job control, soft and hard links.
Able to install and configure systems.
Understand paging and swapping.
Understand file system concepts, i.e. inodes superblocks
Able to configure NFS and NIS.
Understand and perform basic routing concepts.
Must work well independently as well as be a team player.
Must be able to manage equipment, vendors and service providers.
