CNC Global has a position for a Human Factors Engineer
in Portland,OR.

Responsibilities:
Duties Specific to this Job: Provide End-user-centered UI requirements
definition, UI simulation and iterative design/evaluation in product and
technology development. Champion consistent UI look and feel. Lead UI
evaluation efforts for products. Implement Division usability initiatives in
product teams and act as liaison with other (central group, related
products) HF professionals.

Desired Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience/Education:  1 years (MS) / 3 years (BS) industry
HF experience in interdisciplinary project-team culture. Degree in empirical
social-science, preferably psychology (perception, cognition, experimental),
or in focused Human Factors Engineering Program. Network/LAN , Windows, WWW
and Communications / Shared-work aware & comfortable. Has worked on
requirements-definition, design and evaluation/usability testing through
release of product. Experience includes working/ coordinating with other
usability specialists, Engineering, and Product Marketing functions. Rapid
User Interface Prototyping skills and experience with their use in iterative
design/evaluation of SW concept - to - product very desirable. Professional
interest in CHI/HFS a plus.
