Celebration of Japan Festival
Saturday, February 3rd, 1996
Noon-5pm
Sells Middle School
150 W. Bridge Street
Dublin, OH
The Karate Club at OSU and the Seishin Karate Club will be doing
demonstrations at the Celebration of Japan Festival this Saturday, Feb
3rd, in Dublin, OH.
We demoed at this event last year, and it was really a great time - not
only were there several different excellect martial arts demonstrations,
but there were many other traditional demonstrations, performances, and
hands-on exhibitions: taiko drumming, origami, food, tea ceremony,
calligraphy, and more. Best of all, it's free. :)
The Karate Club at OSU has put up a WWW page with information about the
Celebration of Japan Festival (it's pretty much their flyer, verbatim, so
don't blame me for the hokey turns of phrase). The URL is:
http://www.osu.edu/students/karate/festival.html
There's a map online, and a phone number for the Dublin Arts Council (the
people who are putting on the Festival) if you have any questions.
Of course, you can always look at the Karate Club at OSU's page at:
http://www.osu.edu/students/karate/index.html
See you there!
