i tried to post this on alt.native as well, but have lost posting capacity there. if anyone can post it for me on alt.native, and is willing, please do! the native american center here in columbus, ohio, has burned, evidently the result of a furnace fire. this center which, in addition to other things, was a resource center and provided a lot of free help to those in need, now needs primarily financial help itself: firstly, they need a new headquarters. anyone interested in giving a hand may contact selma walker, the director, at 614-497-9703. that is an all-day number. my apologies if this post offends anyone, or if it is incorrectly posted. i wanted to know how to help, and thought others might. thank you. --liz fannin
