I'm going to start up a new Advanced Dungons & Dragons group in
Columbus. I'm looking for mature gamers and atleast 1 other DM to do a
shared-world.

My DM style tends toward full-featured adventures where Hack'n Slash,
Mystery(problem solving), Adventure and Role-playing are all used in
equal proporations. New players as well as experienced RPGers.

I also tend to follow the TSR's rules (guidelines.. whatever..)
although a person can be very creative within those structures.. ever
see a Dark Sun dwarf  or thri-keen "cursed" (i.e. teleported) to
another world :-) or a Wu Jen mage in the FR running from a ninja clan
he "upset". 

Oh yeah, I'm not into S&M.... so NO EVILS or soloists! and while
thieves have had fun in my world.. on side excursions they have also
found out that the law in some towns is very effective. I run worlds
that are internally consistent, both Good guys and bad guys use their
brains and brawn. As a low level you may hear about the great Red
Dragon in the mountains and if you want to find him so be it (how do
you think he collects all the treasure). Players have died in my world,
but I don't run Killer Dungons. (I used to be an AD&D playtester for
TSR)

I'm into minatures and small props.. (I don't bother with Clothes or
Live-Roleplaying stuff)

First Adventure: May 27 My House in Hilliard, Ohio. Probably in the
Forgotten Realms... A man has approached the group, he "knows" his
brother has died a horrible death somewhere (nightmares) and he has
asked you to retrieve the body... and hopefully his soul.

House rules: No Drugs, Alcohol or smoking (smoke breaks allowed) I
prefer to enjoy the game... not other things :-)

Email me with your thoughts on AD&D and then we can talk. I'm well
known at the Guardtower (local Game Hobby shop). Generally I do not
prefer High School age or younger  however I have made exceptions and
parents or spouses are welcome to come and sit in. I'm 35, married,
kids, local guy, former active duty military, currently in the National
Guard. 

I won't DM more than 8 people so don't feel bad if You don't get in the
first time. The campaign may only be a monthly event, twice a month if
there's a holiday.
