Anybody else out there annoyed that WOSU is broadcasting the conventions. I watch WOSU-TV to enjoy something different than the brain-sludge on the networks. They advertise themselves as "alternative programming." So how do they reconcile that with the fact that they're broadcasting EXACTLY the same thing that all 3 networks are also showing. If I wanted to watch the conventions, I'd switch to the comedy channel. Generally, I like the job that WOSU does, but sometimes their decisions make no sense to me. I do have to wonder if it's cheaper just to re-broadcast the conventions from satellite downloads than to broadcast their usual quality stuff. With the budget cuts we've suffered at OSU I suppose that might justify it. Anybody know what's going on here.
