I recently upgraded to a PowerMac G4 system and so it's time to say farewell
my old computer, along with a lot of stuff that I've accumulated with my old
computer. Here's a list of what I'm looking to sell

Hardware

   PowerMac 8600/300 w/128 MB RAM
   16" Apple monitor
Apple Extended Keyboard II w/Apple Desktop Mouse II
31 GB storage, divided over 3 internal HDs. (2 drives are UW SCSI with a
      separate controller)
   2 USB Ports
RCA inputs and outputs for video capture and output.
   56 KB external modem
   4X/8X external CD-R
   CD labelmaker
   10 blank CDs w/cases
Travan 8 GB tape backup system. (6 backup tapes included)
   4 Port USB hub
Iomega Bernouli removable disk drive system w/18 150 MB disks
   17 GB External USB HD
   Ariston USB Camera
   CD Business Card Kit

Software

   System 9.1
   Apple Student Resource Kit
   Campus Software Set for Macintosh
   Quicken Deluxe 98
   ClarisWorks Office 5.0
   Aladdin Systems Spring Cleaning 3.0
   Toast 3.5.7
Dantz Retrospect 4.1 (For Travan 8 GB tape drive)
   Strata VideoShop 3.5
   PowerOn Scheduling and Management Tools
   PowerOn Now Up-To-Date
   PowerOn Action Tools
   Memorex CD Label Makers

Games

   Caesar III
   Lode Runner II
   Master of Orion II
   Sneak Attack
   Police Quest
   Sim City 3000
   Gridz

As you can see, it's a lot of stuff. It all works, and I've taken pretty
good care of it all over the years. I'm looking for $900 for everything,
although I'll listen to reasonable offers. If you're interested, send email
to reader.1@osu.edu or call me at (614) 805-8018.

You must be kidding, $900 for a computer thats 4-5 years obsolete, even
before the original iMac!
Even with the junk you are throwing in it isnt worth $500!
Having all the internal hard drives makes it sound junky and with the
"lot of stuff" you mentioned most wasn't worth mentioning!
I would have thought $600 was pushing it, but $900?

First, consider he is a Mac user.. they are used to paying far too much
for proprietary parts.

But second, Steve, you could so SO much more productive policing if you
would not lace your comments with heavy handed wording. Try and simply state
the facts, like a robot or something. I like what you do here, but you
should really not add in the "tone".

As we have observed numerous time, Steve lacks professionalism on his posts.
But that is what is known as trolling. To entice reader responses by posting
absurd and
disturbing comments that may or may not be useful to the community.
