I think I might have said at the last meeting that we were going to
try to meet today, rather than on the 24th. I've been extremely busy
this past few weeks, dealing with a bunch of small incidents,
rearranging our log structures, getting ISS running, and so on, so I
never got around to planning the meeting and had forgotten that I had
told people that we might be meeting today.

No meeting today - sorry!

I will be trying to put together a short and small meeting to cover
the auscert checklist for a few people whose UNIX systems have been
hit recently. If you're interested in joining us, let me know. I'll
try to do this early next week, but I don't know when yet - I'll be
scheduling this around several people who really need the info rather
badly right now.

Also, in early January I'm going to have a short and hopefully small
workshop on setting up and using PGP, primarily to introduce it to
several groups at OSU who might start using it more regularly. If
you're interested in joining that group, let me know.

If you are among the many who volunteered to take part in the testing
of ISS, RealSecure, or System Security Scanner, you should be haering
from me not later than the end of this week.

I'll send out a note about next month's meeting at the beginning of
January.

Have a nice holiday season and a happy new year!
