Software Engineer Responsibilities:

- Set up, maintain game servers by installing and configuring game
servers, database

- Optimize performance of servers by analyzing game server traffic,
generating reports and identifying optimization strategies

- Troubleshoot errors, security and performance issues and work with
senior members of the team for resolution

- Design and innovate cutting-edge features for online games.

- Assist in designing and implementing features from concept to
completion

- Tracking, documenting, reproducing and correcting problems

- Versioning and building internal and external releases

- Researching current and new technologies as necessary for designing
and implementing new software components

- Perform special projects as directed by the Senior Software Engineer
and Development Manager

Qualifications:

- BS in Computer Science or related field is a plus

- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MS SQL server installation and
configuration

- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, http, database and server
optimization

- Knowledge of database concepts and comfortable with SQL

- Ability to create, debug and maintain complex scripts

- Familiarity with server performance analysis and tuning, QOS, and
scalability issues

- Experience with large size MMO servers management desired

- Strong troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work in a very challenging environment

- Minimum 2-3 experience with object oriented programming in object
oriented language

- Experience developing complex ASP.NET and SQL systems

- Experience building C# or C++ applications (object oriented
technical skills)

- The ability to do outstanding work both individually and as a part
of a team

- Experience administering and performance-tuning Windows systems,
load balancers, etc.

- Must be willing to work additional hours as necessary

- Strong willingness to enhance one’s technical knowledge base via
self study methods

- Strong communications skills
