Worldlink Internet Services is connected to the Internet via a T-1 provided by Sprint-Canada. Sprint-Canada provides an adequate newsfeed, but since their feed comes from Sprint-USA, they do not carry the local interest newsgroups. The only articles that we are receiving into the ott.* newsgroups are articles cross-posted into other mainstream newsgroups. I am looking for someone who can provide me with a newsfeed of can.*, ott.* and tor.*. I would be willing to pay a fee for this service, or in exchange I could provide you with a back-up newsfeed or back-up DNS services. Please take a look at <URL: http://www.flora.ottawa.on.ca/help/newsgroups.html> One of the services that FLORA is offering to the community is a Regional Newsgroups sharing mechenism. Currently we are handling flora.*,ott.*,qc.*,ont.*,can.* - We do not currently have tor.* (We are based in Ottawa), but that is something could be added if needed. Let me know. > Frank Fullum > > ================================================================ > Network Operations and Technical Support > WorldLink Internet Services, inc > 600-99 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 6B9 (613) 233-7100 > ================================================================-- Russell McOrmond, Consultant : Flora St, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Earth, ...
