What are all these certs. for - network support? This scenario sounds suspicious. If the would-be employer actually wants you to have the certification, and has some confidence in your abilities, surely they would be prepared to hire you, and spend perhaps as much as a couple thousand dollars for you to get the certification. On the other hand, if _reality_ is that they don't _want_ you, it would be easy enough to say: "Well, you don't have A+ certification. We can't hire anyone that doesn't have A+ certification." And if you _get_ the cert, they are free to change the requirements again: "You know, we have found that what we really need right now are some Cisco-certified people." (and that's a many-thousands-of-dollars and lots of time spent cert...) Spending a couple hundred dollars "upgrading" with a certification or two would be a reasonable idea. But anything costing more is _real_ suspicious... -- (concatenate 'string "cbbrowne" "@cbbrowne.com") http://www.ntlug.org/~cbbrowne/unix.html Why are men like blenders? You need one, but you're not quite sure why.
