Following is some information from the service manual:

Dimensions: 26.6 x 21.0 x 38.8
(W)x(D)x(H)

Weight: 107 kg (235.9 lbs.) including the stand

Exposure Adjustment: 7 stages

Color Adjustment: 7 levels for each of the three primary colors
* there are 6 colors that can be adjusted to reach the optimum blend. Red,
Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta & Yellow. On the control panel there are buttons
representing the 6 different colors with 7 graduating stages for each of the
6 colors. It looks something like:
Red - - - - - - - Cyan
Green - - - - - - - Magenta
Blue - - - - - - - Yellow

Continuous Copying: up to 99 sheets

Copying speed: 1.5 sheets per minute

Magnification: Same size 1 : 1
                        Reduction 1 : .07
                        Enlargement 1 : 1.40

Paper Supply: Automatic cassette feeding
(I have one paper cassette that works with both the paper and the
transperancies)

So the copier is capable of producing 99 continuous full color copies (the
full range of color in each picture) at 1.5 sheets per minute. It can reduce
and enlarge. It produces transperancies or paper copies.

The machine is in very nice condition. It was sold to me by a local
copy center. They had trouble with the quality of the flesh tones reproduced
from photographs. I spoke to tech. support for the brother company and was
advised that placing a 5mm acitate mat, available at any local craft store,
the platen before the photograph and increasing the amount of yellow? would
greatly help the problem with flesh tones. I have never tried it but I still
have the phone number if you had any questions.

The copy center also had some difficulty getting the consumible
supplies. (paper, color cartridge ect..) I called his supplier and indeed
would have some difficulty, items on back order and such. So I called the
brother company directly and found I could order direct from them. I would
get the wholesale price from brother that I could not get from the copy
center's supplier ( I also have that phone number).

I don't know exactly how old the machine is but the service manual was
printed in 1989, so I assume the machine was manufactured in 1989.
