The following is IMHO and stated WITHOUT PREJUDICE:
Mr. Noland,
Elgin Computers is dealing with the issue head on - but has chosen for
obvious reasons to avoid public dialogue with persons behaving illogically.
And why should they deal with people who have proven to be less than
completely ethical in their postings?
Scott has already resolved his major issues with Elgin Computers (prior to
your call for mediation), so there is no benefit to be realized at this
point. I suggest you rethink your strategy, because at this point in time
you seem to be the only party with what you believe to be an issue.
We are all for Freedom of Speech - but not to a point where it is
acceptable to hurt people intentionally.
Sometimes people say things that 'just come out wrong'; this happens to
everyone sometimes and may hurt peoples' feelings. But it is another thing
altogether to research or investigate someone, in order to manifest a
suspicion or breed doubt to support a non-existent issue or possibly even a
personal vendetta. Scott has had his say and now has worked things out
with
EC. It is time for you to do the same.
