I know this may seem insignifigant, but I will put it up for what it is
worth.  We do what we can right?  Anyways....
I went to buy a computer magazine at Novo Club in Merivale mall.  I pulled
out my Visa for the $6 impending charge as I had no cash on me.  The clerk
informed me that it was store policy to not allow credit purchases under
$15.  I asked to speak to the manager.  I got the owner, who was sitting
at a near-by table reading a paper.  I asked if he was aware that it was
against his credit agreement with Visa to have a minimum floor charge on
credit purchases.  He did not even bother to look up from the paper he was
reading and said that it was store policy, in a take it or leave it kind of
a voice.  I left and will not shop in a store like NOVO CLUB again, where
customer service is completely disregarded, and rudeness is the norm at
the executive level.
