FYI, the "Papa" variant is sterile, and does not propagate.  Programmer
left a syntax error in the VBASIC...

We're tracking the latest virus warnings, none of the Melissa "copycats"
appear viable, and none are reported seen "in the wild".

No sign of the Papa variant in our mail logs.  We've swatted 50 Melissas
in our inbound - which doesn't seem like much, but since we estimate that
one single missed one prompted around 8000 copies on our internal network,
it's quite significant.

The article is confused.  The Ping variant is not the same thing as Papa.
However, IIRC, they were reported in the same NAI bulletin.
