Scott, do you know what the BI is? It's called the Breidbart Index and it
determines what cancellable spam is on Usenet. You take the number of
times a substantively identical article has been posted, and multiply it
by the square root of the number of newsgroups to which it has been
posted over a 45 day rolling window. If the BI exceeds 20, then it is
considered to be net-abusive spam and can legitimately be cancelled. Note
the words "substantively identical."
Your screed about "KNEE BUCKELING FRENCH COWARDS" is getting very close to
the BI limit -- if it isn't over already. I'm a firm believer in free
expression, and support entirely your right to make a complete ass of
yourself in public. I do NOT support the theft of bandwidth and storage
space from the commons to feed your obsession. We read it the first ten
times you posted it. There is no need to keep posting it. The long and
short of it is, if you don't knock it off with the spamming, I will begin
tracking your BI and as soon as it hits 20, I will begin issuing cancels
every time you post it. Furthermore, I will contact Deja News, who take a
dim view on spamming, and ensure that your posting priviledges are revoked.
I speak here only as an irritated member of the Usenet public and not as a
board member of the NCF. Any cancellations I issue will not be coming
from the NCF, and will be duly reported to news.admin.net-abuse.bulletins
and news.admin.net-abuse.usenet.
