You sound like an intellegent (pissed off) person. You and all the people who played Monopoly when they were kids should get it in their thick skull that Bell is a UTILITY company. Providing network for us all (in Ontario, Quebec, NWT). Do you expect company X and Y to lay cable, set up switches at Central Offices, etc. Give your head a shake. We had a good system of communications and with MEGA players from US in our market the local telephone infrastructure will deteriorate. Hence higher local costs, but lower long distance for some.
