I'm the organizer for the Vankleek Hill May Show, and I've been asked
to invite boaters & sailers to attend our event. We've arranged a
shuttle bus from L'Orignal (along the Ottawa River, has a small marina
with showers, pumpout, gas and washrooms, $1.10/ft/day) to the event
in Vankleek Hill.
This is the 20th anniversary of the May Show, and we're trying
something different by extending the invitation to L'Orignal and its
marina users. The May Show is a weekend long event (Victoria Day
Weekend) celebrating our visual and performance arts as well as our
heritage. Sunday, May 19th (yes I know, the Tulip Flotilla) is our
senior-friendly day with slightly quieter events including acoustic
music performances and a Victorian picnic. Monday, May 20th is a more
of a family fun day with activities for kids. All day Sunday and
Monday we'll have antique cars, crafters, artists, and performances.
Friday night and Saturday have their own events as well, but we're not
planning on offering the shuttle bus those days (unless we have lots
of requests therefor).

L'Orignal is just shy of Hawkesbury on the Ottawa River, BTW.

Anyhow, what kind of information would you need if you were planning
on sailing/boating here? I appreciate any and all (constructive)
suggestions!
