Consider this Jack:

If we assume that there are people out there who have gotten over the
excitement of being connected to the INTERNET and who read this newsgroup to
help you and I with our 'serious' posts.  What is your problem with their
good natured banter.  This is their 'local' and by the tone of the posts,
often more than a pint is consumed. But so what!!

Live and let live Jack.  'this Rod person' is more often than not right.
Not pleasant about it, but right.

People slag off at him for not being a lawyer etc....  Big deal I'm not a
qualified football coach but no one slags off at me for KNOWING how my team
should play.

In my book right is more important than pleasant when it comes to our
'serious' posts.

Taking myself seriously as ever :-(
