hello Is anyone using fred.net reading this newsgroup? Well, I might be moving north and my current provider doesn't support those area ;-( Since fred.net seem to be the *only* internet provider in Frederick & Hagerstown, I don't have any choice. (Correct me if I'm wrong) I like my current service provider and hope that fred.net have the same standards. How is their services? Do you have any problem dailing in? (Is their line always free?) Do they have access to all decent newsgroup (all 5,000 - 6,000 or more?) Do they offer PPP at reasonable cost? (ie, < 25 bucks) Do they have UPS? (Uninterupted Power Supply) Do they provide file backup? thanks in advance.
