I see... first it's "no weapons", then it's "no viable weapons".
Tomorrow it will no doubt be be "no viable weapons in square blue
containers with a red label".
The simple truth you're weasel dancing around is that we found WMD in
small quantities, hard evidence that they were producing more, and solid
evidence they moved larger quantities across their borders just prior to
coalition forces moving in. It doesn't tale a Lego scientist...
Of course I predicted this weasel dance with spooky accuracy many months
ago when I said we'd find some weapons in small quantities, and it
wouldn't be enough to satiate those who choose to remain insatiable.

Doubtful. But what does Osamma's 10-20 have to do with Iraq's WMD
besides being something you can puke up to obfuscate your inability to
defend your leftist parrot routine against an attack of fact and
honesty?
This feeble attempt at wit alone shatters your entire "no weapons"
rhetoric all by itself. You just boldly proclaimed to the online world
you're fully aware of the factual evidence, and choose to ignore it.
Or... you're a bit "current events challenged".
*snicker*

My my... what a shining example of how willfully stupid one person can
make themselves look when they address an issue with their brain tied
behind their back.
First of all, dunderhead, read what you just typed and compare it to
your original assertion. If you have trouble distinguishing between "any
terrorist organization" and "9/11", please find an 8 year old to hold
your hand and explain it on your level.
The 9/11 commission focused on a single issue. Ironically enough it was
9/11, but in a rush to make yourself an easy target of ridicule and
mockery you're holding their report up as support of your vegetative "no
terrorist organizations" clap trap. Again, you're probably doing it
because you're fully ware he facts fly in your face and you're
obfuscating.
Or maybe you really are just that stump stupid?
I'd go with "obfuscating" if I were you.
Second of all, dunderhead, you're one of those self deluding lazy fucks
who get their "facts" from third parties. If you had any interest in all
in being an informed debater rather than a wooden facsimile of an
evolved species suspended from left wing media strings, you'd have
already read the 9/11 commission report yourself, and realized that
you're not only comparing apples and the planet Pluto, but quoting a
MISquote of the original report...
"The memo found no "compelling case" that Iraq had either planned or
perpetrated the attacks."
That itself was in part a quote of yet another document... a memo from
Clark to Rice. A memo that *also* stated there was however "anecdotal
evidence" that they at least helped support the attack circumstantially.
And in the interest of being thorough, here's some of the *rest* of what
the 9/11 commission had to say about Iraq and a your so called "no
credible link to terrorism" lies. Read'm and weep, dunderhead...
Page 76: Bin Ladin's interest in Iraq...
"Bin Ladin now had a vision of himself as head of an international jihad
con-federation. In Sudan, he established an "Islamic Army Shura" that
was to serve as the coordinating body for the consortium of terrorist
groups with which he was forging alliances. It was composed of his own
al Qaeda Shura together with leaders or representatives of terrorist
organizations that were still independent. In building this Islamic
army,he enlisted groups from Saudi Arabia,Egypt,Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq,
Oman, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Somalia, and Eritrea. Al Qaeda
also established cooperative but less formal relationships with other
extremist groups from these same countries; from the African states of
Chad, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and Uganda; and from the Southeast Asian
states of Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Bin Ladin maintained
connections in the Bosnian conflict as well. The groundwork for a true
global terrorist network was being laid."
Page 79: Saddam and Bin Laden together, against a "common enemy"...
"To protect his own ties with Iraq, Turabi [Sudan] reportedly brokered
an agreement that Bin Ladin would stop supporting activities against
Saddam. Bin Ladin apparently honored this pledge, at least for a time,
although he continued to aid a group of Islamist extremists operating in
part of Iraq (Kurdistan) outside of Baghdads control. In the late
1990s, these extremist groups suffered major defeats by Kurdish forces.
In 2001, with Bin Ladin's help they re-formed into an organization
called Ansar al Islam. There are indications that by then the Iraqi
regime tolerated and may even have helped Ansar al Islam against the
common Kurdish enemy."
Page 84: Actual contact...
In mid-1998,the situation reversed; it was Iraq that reportedly took the
initiative. In March 1998, after Bin Ladins public fatwa against the
United States, two al Qaeda members reportedly went to Iraq to meet with
Iraqi intelligence. In July, an Iraqi delegation traveled to Afghanistan
to meet first with the Taliban and then with Bin Ladin. Sources reported
that one, or perhaps both, of these meetings was apparently arranged
through Bin Ladins Egyptian deputy, Zawahiri, who had ties of his own
to the Iraqis. In 1998, Iraq was under intensifying U.S. pressure, which
culminated in a series of large air attacks in December."
[...]
"According to the reporting, Iraqi officials offered Bin Ladin a safe
haven in Iraq. Bin Ladin declined, apparently judging that his
circumstances in Afghanistan remained more favorable than the Iraqi
alternative. The reports describe friendly contacts and indicate some
common themes in both sides hatred of the United States."
Page 118: Clinton knew about Iraq's terrorist activities...
"When President Clinton took office, he decided right away to coordinate
counterterrorism from the White House. On January 25, 1993, Mir Amal
Kansi, an Islamic extremist from Pakistan, shot and killed two CIA
employees at the main highway entrance to CIA headquarters in Virginia.
(Kansi drove away and was captured abroad much later.) Only a month
afterward came the World Trade Center bombing and, a few weeks after
that, the Iraqi plot against former President Bush."
[...]
"When explaining the missile strike against Iraq provoked by the plot to
kill President Bush,President Clinton stated: 'From the first days of
our Revolution, America's security has depended on the clarity of the
message: Don't tread on us. A firm and commensurate response was
essential to protect our sovereignty, to send a message to those who
engage in state-sponsored terrorism, to deter further violence against
our people, and to affirm the expectation of civilized behavior among
nations.'"

There's a few more references to be had if you look, but by now you
should have started to feel something that resembles the truth taking
root behind that protruding forehead of yours. Don't panic. I know the
experience is a foreign one, but you're completely safe. The truth never
permanently injured anyone. The headaches caused by factual information
infesting a place never designed to house such things will pass.
>>> Fact: Bush lied, soldiers died.
>>
>> Pathetically incorrect "slogan". Nobody spread any lies
>> here, but you.
>
> May you and your suffer a protracted, painful merciless death.
How quaint.
If you should happen to get the urge to stand up like a real man and
defend what you blather in stead of falling back on this sort of idiocy,
please feel free to do so.
<snip quotes>
Every one of them was true. Iraq *did* have an active chemical and
bioweapons program, *was* working towards nuclear weapons capabilities,
and *did* have links to other terrorist organizations. Every single
piece of evidence collected on the subject points to those facts at the
very least, and much of it confirms them beyond doubt.
If you'd pull your head out of whatever Dan Rather style ass you use to
keep your ears warm and your eyes shaded from reality, you'd already
know all this. Nut no... you and your ill informed band of self
appointed authorities would rather sit on your asses in front the the TV
listening to talking heads and pretend you're waddling through life with
something that resembles knowledge, than exert even the minimal effort
required to actually gain some amount of the same.
To people who *do* take the time to factually inform themselves, you
look like a herd of sheep being steered into the woods by the wolves.
And we pity you for being so easily misled... honestly.
