You make it sound like all erections are voluntary, and thus
under mens' control. This is not the case, as any man who
suffered an embarrassing erection in a public place can
attest. You might as well ask men to control the way
synapses fire in the brain, or the release of hormones.

As Joe Jackson once wrote:
