And the reasons that those activities are frowned upon in public is
mostly because they're unsanitary in small doses and a positive public
health hazard in large doses. (try walking past any bush close to a
public open-air concert the enxt day and you'll know what I mean.)

Somehow, I don't think that public breasfeeding can be considered a
public-safety/public-health issue.
