"Welcome to PDaXs" sessions are intended to let users have hands-on
experience with a terminal hooked to a PDaXs session, letting them learn
how to use e-mail and news. PDaXs is a free service intended to let
more people access newsgroups and electronic mail.

Questions covered include: "How do I send e-mail?"; "How do I find
addresses?"; "How do I send mail to CompuServe, MCI Mail, America Online,
and/or FidoNet?"; "How do I compose messages offline?"; and whatever
else people come up with.

Different people learn different ways. For every person who prefers to
have a manual to sit with and work through, there's at least one other
person who'd rather have a person to talk to. It's often productive
to let someone show you exactly what they're doing instead of trying to
have them describe it over the phone.

Power users will probably be bored, but novice users will find the
answers to many of their questions. We welcome novices who are new to
modems, computers, and/or BBSs. These sessions are pretty specific
to PDaXs, so people who use other machines probably won't find them as
useful as the "Welcome to the Machine" sessions.

Please bring paper, pencil and questions!
