Forgive me if I violate some law of Netiquette. :-)
Please read the enclosed post, and pass on. Briefly, it requests help
in passing the word or signing up for the bone marrow registry to assist
an individual in finding a bone marrow donor for his twelve year old
sister who is half Korean and half Caucasian.
Even if the listed individual is able to find a donor, many won't be so
lucky. The need for bone marrow donors, especially non-white and
bi-racial donors, is huge in this country. If you are interested in
learning more, organizing a drive or becoming a donor yourself, please
contact one of the following organizations. In Pittsburgh, our local
donor center is the Central Blood Bank at (412) 456-5595. If not in
Pittsburgh, you can contact the National Bone Marrow Donor Program at 1
800 MARROW2 to find the center nearest you.
Thanks for your time,
Kim Ratliff Hall
