The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Network Professional Association (NPA), will
hold their monthly meeting April 4, 1995 at 6 P.M. at Point Park College,
Pittsburgh. This months meeting features a technical briefing on Wide Area
Network Technologies including ATM, ISDN and Frame Relay presented by Mike
Kelly of Bell Atlantic followed by an open technical forum.  Refreshments

About the Network Professional Association

The Network Professional Association (NPA) is a self regulating,
non-profit association of network computing service professionals that
sets standards of technical expertise , professionalism, and ethical
behavior. The mission of the NPA is to advance the network computing
profession. The NPA is governed by a member elected, independent Board Of
Directors and has over 10,000 members and more than 100 established
chapters worldwide. 

The NPA is for network computing professionals - those who design,
implement, and/or maintain computer networks- who want to keep up with the
latest technology and information.  The NPA membership is drawn from
business, education, government and the computer industry. 

The Pittsburgh chapter of the NPA meets the first Tuesday of each month at
Point Park College for a technical briefing and network technologies
forum. Other activities are a Hands-On Network Technologies Lab
established at Point Park College and the presentation of educational
programs nationwide.
