Making Pittsburgh "the" Place to Live and Work -- Your Input Can Help! Be Among the First to See Exciting Plans for Pittsburgh's Riverfronts Since their inception a year ago, the Riverlife Task Force has moved quickly to develop some very exciting plans for redeveloping the City's riverfronts, in conjunction with Chan Krieger of Boston, one of the country's foremost urban planning and design firms and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, one of Pittsburgh's best and brightest architectural and planning firms. However, most critical to successfully making Pittsburgh's riverfronts magnificent is input from those of us who live, work and study here. That's why on Tuesday, September 12, the Riverlife Task Force invites all members of the Carnegie Mellon Campus Community to join them on from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Rangos Room I, Second Floor, University Center, for an open forum to review and discuss the exciting plans to transform Pittsburgh's riverfronts into the most viable and spectacular riverfronts in the country. Guest speakers will be: Davitt Woodwell, Executive Director, Riverlife Task Force Radhika Bagai, Project Planner, Chan Krieger, Cambridge, Ma. Michael Kuchera, Project Architect, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Pittsburgh, Pa. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served. For more information call (412) 268-4992 or email ih24@andrew.cmu.edu.
