On July 22nd from 03:00 to 04:00 GMT, someone used compromised passwords
from six of our accounts to post about 25 articles to these groups.  As
hundreds of you have pointed out, these articles were obscene, inappropriate,
and in some cases illegal.  Some contained the "Make Money Fast" scam article
with our address, while one advertised free phone sex from our customer
service line.  

The owners of these compromised accounts were not involved in the postings
in any way, and are at no fault in the matter.

We regret the incident, and are taking additional measures to improve
password security to help prevent future such problems.

Please direct any additional comments to postmaster@netaxs.com, and spare
the other readers of these groups and the owners of the compromised accounts.
