FLASH ANNOUNCEMENT! Dan Porter, the president of InnoVal Systems
Solutions, makes a return visit to the Philadelphia OS/2 SIG on
January 28th to demonstrate J Street Mailer, Innoval's new Java
Version of Post Road Mailer. Dan demonstrated this last week to
the New York OS/2 SIG, resulting in resounding acclaim throughout
the OS/2 community for this landmark full-featured, robust, 100%
pure Java email client. Dan will also provide updates about other
current Java projects at InnoVal and his knowledgable incisive
insights into what's really happening with Java & OS/2 inside IBM.

Larry Lavins' demo of the Beta-2 release of Lotus SmartSuite for
Warp 4, originally scheduled for January, will be postponed to a
later month. Very brief launch screens may be shown at the January
 meeting, as time permits.

Other agenda items include OS/2 news & new product announcements,
Warpstock '98 committee report, discussion and live demos of OS/2
apps, Java, Internet, Q&A session, software raffle, and more as
 time may permit.

OS/2 SIG meetings are open & free for all OS/2 users, their guests
and others interested in learning about OS/2. To hear about new and
exciting developments, or get answers to your questions about OS/2
Warp and Java, this is the place to see OS/2 in action. Free light
refreshments (soda, chips, pretzels) will also be served.
