Sorry to hear that your experiences with Great Expectations were not what
you expected.

The worst waste of money I ever made was an $800, 1-year membership to
Mandy's Matching Service, of Commack, N.Y. Talk about an outfit that just
barely escaped being a total fraud. Their idea of a "match" was somebody
of the correct gender--forget about all that information you gave on your
three-hour "interview" and the personality data questionairre you filled
out. I don't see their ads in the newspapers much any more, so maybe
they've gone under. We can only hope.

Yes, they did set me up with about eight women over the course of a year.
None of them were "matches" in any real sense of the word. Mandy's was a
computer dating service; maybe I missed the point entirely and should've
sent my computer out with those women instead...

The one things I was able to salvage from the experience are not to sign
any contract that doesn't provide redress in case the services promised
are not delivered (or turn out to be worthless), and simply throwing money
at problems doesn't necessarily solve them.

Chris
