If it matters, Sue, at least one person agrees with you. Feelings, in
a nutshell, are not controllable, changable, or convenient, but
they're ours, and we have to deal with them. Steve <the gent you
responded to> was right about one thing: We can control our reactions.
However, we can't control our feelings. We can choose to ignore how we
feel, or downplay the significant of certain feelings, but we can't
choose how we feel.
