Interesting thread -- 49 so far.  A couple of issues have not been
discussed:  1) The type of people that sign up, 2) Variable pricing
depending on the group category you fit in.

Signed up to GE about three years ago for $2025 for a 3 yr 3 month
contract.  Was just out of a divorce.  Most of the women I dated were
also newly divorced or out of a serious relationship.  These are the
type of people willing to spend the money.

After talking to several members, I found they do offer different
prices depending on how weak a group category is.  Attractive females
under 25 yrs seemed to get the best prices.  On the other end of the
spectrum, older gentlemen were charged less than the woman in the same
age group.

I used the service actively for two years.  Dated a psychotic with a
knife, had many enjoyable dates, and meet two woman I�ll always
remember.

Meet my wife at a Leisure Learning Meeting Group Party.  A friend also
meet his wife there -- we even got engaged on the same evening (Not
planned -- I know we do two many things together!).  The party cost
$25.  I felt the environment was to controlled or manipulative, but it
worked out great -- keep your options open.

GE is a good way to start dating again.  Once you are past that point
other options may be better, because many of its members will still be
in pain of an old relationship.
