I was refering to a women who SAYS she's "busy" due to something like
homework, business, "too tired to go out" or some other non-dating reason.
Then she goes out with someone else. The point is that said hypothetical
person is not being honest with me. She won't say she's got another date
and instead makes up a story.
This might not mean much if it was a woman I'd only been dating a short
while. It might or might not affect my decision whether or not to ever
ask her out again depending on other factors. If it was a common
occurance (or other lies were involved regularly), then I'd probably not
long take such a person seriously.
Friendship, etc would be a different story, but even there a friend who I
couldn't believe wouldn't be much of a friend.
