Gee Rob, flaming on the net makes as much sence as lighting farts at the 
movies. Maybe she doesn't want to flame hin at all?

Anyway I don't agree that Charles is an atypical net male.  Asocial, 
antisocial, and unsocial peoplephobes abound on the net. Maybe you and are are 
just reading different newsgroups but I see "Charles" like men all over the 
net. Not that men have a monopoly on it, there are dikes on bikes  flaming in 
the support group for disabled sexuality. Saying Charles isn't typical is like 
saying that commercial ads arent placed in usenet. 

The "Charles" mentality isn't a problem. Why should I be his judge? If there 
is a problem it is thaking his sort of thinking seriously. If we didn't 
respond ti the Charless  all they could do would be send a thousand copies of 
their picture to our postmasters and complain we are not paying attention to 
them.

When we get down to their level, which Ms Harris doesn't seem to want to do, 
how are we any better than they?

I have worked with dysfunctional people for the last 20 years. I have less 
problems with them than anyone I know. Here is a secret I learned long 
ago. Ignore behaviours you wish to change, if there is a mess quietly clean it 
up, then get on with the program. Persons with problems in the area of 
socialization generally either want to be left alone or more frequently want 
to be the center of attention. Flaming Charles makes as much sence as trying 
to put out a fire with gas.<I suppose I will hear about 85 ways to do that

So, now that I have broken my own rule and rewarded behavior I wish not to see
