Well...I usually keep out of this kind of thread, being a hostile male and
all that, but.....

1.  I'm not too sure that the list defined in the previous posts truly
define what men refer to as "head games", but certainly the sexual and
psychological manipulative aspects qualify.

2.  I doubt that one could even try to assert that these are the exclusive
property of the female half of the species, but most men would contend
that they are both better at it and more frequent practitioners.

3.   As to why, the answer is rather obvious and should not require long
treatises for even the most modest intelligence to follow the reasoning:
     It is well known that any under-empowered class of people will adopt
these methods and other non-direct confrontational tactics to achieve the
perferctly normal goal of achieving effective parity with the more
powerful class in their society; study the underclass and peasant
behaviours of any earlier society from ancient Rome onwards for examples
in history and legend.

4.   As women as a group feel more empowered, i.e. feel that they have
achieved parity with men in our culture, you can expect the prevalence of
"head games" to become pretty much the same as practiced by men, except
the use of sex as a power tool - women have more power there by the
dictates of pure biology, and nobody, male or female, willinlgy abandons
any natural advantage in life!

Everybody uses what they can in the jungle of life - it ain't a mystery, folks.
