The whole thing sounds very similar to my story.  All except for the 
photographer expense.  Mine was only ~$120.00.  Great Expectations SUCKS.

SAVE your MONEY.  Personals ads are a lot less expensive, and if you spend
the money on a computer, you have a better chance of getting a date 
through the net than you do with GE.  I wish them FLAMING DEATH!!!
