I am developing a SpringBoard module for a Visor.

I'm wondering if :
    - there are others developing custom springboard hardware?
    - if there is a newsgroup specifically for springboard hw and sw?
    - how one would go about creating a new newsgroup?
    - what would it be called?  springboard.developer?
    - would there be general interest in such a group?
