As a woman with far too much time on my hands, I set about doing a
web-search for my name.
And lo and behold, Hixie is a horse!! (did my laugh give me away??)
Favored by *Master Picks* in the 9th Race today at Lone Star Park in
Grand Prairie (no word on the outcome) ...
Still searching for a picture and/or info on owners/trainers/history.
Meanwhile, I'm delighted to be part of a trend ... we Hixies are
thoroughbreds!!
