Can anyone from Intel help me out with some questions about compressed work week? I work for a company that is considering implementing CWW and if any one could help me out with some questions I would be GREATLY appreciative. Or, if you work for another company that employes 24-hour 7 day a week shift cycle I would appreciate hearing from you as well. thank you! jn justin@psg.com

ISC Corporation in Spokane had a four-day work week. It was one of the reasons I moved there. It is very accomodating because you have a three day weekend every weekend, except when there's a holiday, in which case you have a four (or five) day weekend. In reality, you don't even notice the extra time each day. Its more productive because you don't have to "start over" on that extra day each week (not to mention gas savings, travel time, etc.). ISC fell on hard times (economy and mis-management, not to be blamed on CWW), and now does not exist.
