Of course not.  Mark was speaking by analogy.  Charlie "I Know You 
Are But What Am I?" McCann isn't actually buzzing around my head,
or I would certainly swat him to the fullest extent of the law.  
Instead, we smack him around a little in the newsgroup (virtually 
speaking).  Then we (some of us anyway) complain vigorously to 
the people around us about how after all these versions, Netscape 
News still doesn't have a killfile.

It was a good effort, because flies do thrive on bullshit and make
the same, constant annoying noise all the time.  But, unfortunately,
I don't feel it was one of Mark's best analogies.  That is, unless
he is familiar with a variety of fly that can withstand being
completely and effectively swatted by dozens of people and each time
rise up again with the same dull buzz.
