These remarks were not intended as a "put down," they were mostly
innocuous observation with a mild opinon in the last sentence. 

"The people I've spoken with seem unanimous in their assessment of
netzone ... It stinks. While connectivity is outstanding and reliable;
the news, mail and web hosting is alleged to be horrible. I can't
imagine they'd have very good technical support either."

On the other hand, pointing out that Goodnet doesn't share their
customer's personal/confidential information with  telemarketing firms
and Primenet does should only be considered a "put down" if you believe
either of their practices to be offensive.

The fact is that Primenet turns over confidential/personal customer
information from their data base to Telemarketing Firms to be used for
purposes never intended by their customers.
