I'm not required to look people straight in the eye either. And most
importantly, It's not up to you to attempt to dictate how, when or why I
use my telephone. Get it ?

Because occasionally some business relationships require that level of
identification. For example my doctor has my phone number, but I'm
confident he would not give it out to a telemarketing agency and who
knows who else.

Primenet assured me personally and specifically  a number of times that
they would never give my phone number out to a telemarketing firm. This
personal assurance has been echoed many times over the years in a
broader sense when Primenet proclaims publicly that "personal
information will not be given out without a court order." 

The fact is that Primenet turns over confidential/personal customer
information from their data base to third parties to be used for
unintended purposes.
