Luc You really should consider writing speeches for Chretien..you 
have a much more convincing line than he can ever come up with..
you should send a copy of that post to Manning as Bouchard as well..
in both official languages..

While you are at it why don't you form your own political party?..I am 
dead serious..your ideas translate well and coming from hard won 
experience must reverbrate to be able to convince the common man..
It might be saving grace from the one note of the reform..

I have often wondered what the Quebecois were running from..and to..
the economic iniquities of Quebec may be real but are not a product of 
colonial servitude..although centrist bucks put PEI, Manitoba and 
Newfoundland at a disadvantage..eqaully..it is not "racial" dollar..
so to speak..

If the Quebecois see John Bull monolith..it is an apparition..
of a distant past..if it ever was..the family compact is long gone..
and if it is a Francophone's enemy it is mine too..

Time to consider where our future lies..in co-operation or petulance..
