My LAB-2200 finally crapped out completely as I was spending my 85th hour trying to fix a flakey channel. Every time I poked around a little more, more things stopped working until the motor stopped turning. Time for a new turntable. Although I am interested in anyone looking to get rid a another LAB-2200 so's I can scavenge one for parts to fix t'other, I am also looking for any *decent* turntable under $100. I'd like linear tracking, but it's not a must. I'd like direct drive, but I know it's rare. I'd like a "hands-free" tonearm (controlled from a front panel so you never have to worry about dropping the needle or scratching a record), but as with all my other wants, it's optional. The only definate thing is the immediate need. Contact me by friday or I guarantee I'll have already bought a turntable. I'll still be interested in other LAB-2200's, though.
