My, my... Spend a few days away from this newsgroup and what do I
find? Allegations, hate, and threats! All in a "forsale" newsgroup.
Funny thing though, no one has stated that they WERE cheated by this
seller of coins. Only people that pride themselves as saviours and
deductive geniuses.

"mlane"'s remark coming from an organization that refuses to be
responsible for business transactions conducted via their service
is pretty ironic, IMHO. All of a sudden, this person is trying to
"save" us from being cheated?

Compuserve offers "classified" sections that allows people to
advertise their items. Compuserve will NOT do anything if anyone is
cheated. They don't want to hear it.

Doesn't the fact the Teri has gone out of her way to try to defend
herself give anyone a feeling that she *isn't* trying to cheat anyone?
I've encountered cheated people on the Net vilifying those that
cheated them while not seeing any defense from those cheaters. Teri
has been selling items on the Net for several months. I assume she's
had many buyers, NONE of which have complained about her.

Do you still think she's trying to cheat anyone?

Without proof, Teri's being chastised as a "crook-to-be". That isn't
fair. Perhaps people like "mlane@compuserve"'s deductive reasoning
(that Teri is trying to cheat people) is faulty.


IMHO, I think that those that really believe that they were trying to
save "even just one person" from being cheated, should have stated it
as a caution to beware. I think it's wrong to imply without a doubt
that Teri was intending to cheat.
