I happen to be under an 'obligatory' invitation to watch the
Super Bowl next weekend, and would like some objective [is that
asking too much :) ] advice on the outcome;

the spread in the UK appears to be about 7 points, what would all
those Americans out there advise; straight win?

On a straight win, I'd narrowly pick Buffalo. They have a lot to prove,
having been beaten the last 2 times. They are on a roll after the
unfortunate win in the wild card game and have dominated some good teams
in the subsequent games. Finally, Dallas has no Super Bowl experience
and could end up overawed by the whole thing, as "young" NFL teams
sometimes are.

However, I say this reluctantly, as I lived in Dallas for 7 years and
became, by default, a Dallas fan. (I it darn near impossible to follow
the Houston Oilers in the Dallas media. The converse is easy, however.)

haha, as a native buffalonian, i'd have to say the opposite. here in the
jersey area it's nearly impossible for me to get anything about anyone
other than the giants or the jets or (on the philly stations, which are
actually worse about it) the eagles.

i'd have to say the bills will win in a landslide...:)
of course, if you're betting REAL MONEY on the game, i'd take the bills just
because the line is so high. it's based almost entirely on the afc/nfc
argument, not on the quality of football either team plays.
