A friend of mine in France told me about a book called "THE OTHER JESUS"
(or ANOTHER JESUS?. Some girl he met in a park was reading it. It is
supposed to be about some figure in pre-Christian Greek, (or ROMAN? OR
CELTIC?) mythology named "JESUS" who had all the usual Christian features
(magic powers, was called the Son of God, dies and rises from the dead,
etc). The claim is that old legends about this mythical guy were revamped
and became Christianity. All this is somehow involved in all the
conspiracy theories of the Holy Blood-Holy Grail stuff, and the wild
claims made by the Stuart families about members of certain royal
families being blood relatives of Jesus Christ and such. It is also
supposedly(?) connected to that scandle going on in Canada where the head
of some big Christian church publicly said he does not really believe
Christ was God, and that he does not believe Christ was actually
resurrected from the dead. The book is evidently written in English, and
is published somewhere in the UK. But I've checked all the book stores in
my neck of the woods, and nobody here in "the colonies" has it nor knows
where to get it. Anybody over there willing to sell me a copy? Even a
used copy would be fine, so long as its in readable condition. If no body
is willing to part with a copy, then even the name of the publisher or
authors' name would be appreciated. (I am not even 100% sure I've got the
title right).
Thank you very much, Vince.

There were many Christs before Jesus but Jesus was the first anointed
Christ of this Dark Age. All the twelve disciples at the Pentecost became
Christs and started preaching Gospel.
