Does anyone know of any good books on or including sections on the early history of juggling? The art can be traced back for thousands of years, yet there I've been able to find so little information about pre-twentieth century juggling. I'm also interested in the newer stuff, so if anyone has any recommended readin along those lines too, I'll look into it. Thanky... -- --Bradford Linder, the self proclaimed, sudden expert on devilbunnies..-- (but obviously not on spelling)

This book traces the history of juggling, but its complete lack of a bibligraphy or footnotes to denote sources leaves me befuddled. I've traced many of his "early history" back to sources and much of is is inaccurate. Not completely wrong, just streched a little. This may be from the german to english translation that Mr. Zeithen once complained to me about. This two volume work is currently out of print, but there is one copy available through interlibrary loan (it isn't copy-writed if your interested) and Dube' is due to reprint it in one volume shortly. (there is a huge amount of white space that could be removed.) -GReg Cohen Infinite Illusions
